Central & Eastern European R&I Cooperation Day
FP9, the successor of Horizon 2020, will presumably not only include a budgetary increase for Widening Participation & Spreading Excellence, but the importance of cooperation with institutions from Central- and Eastern European countries (CEE) in all other ‘regular’ FP9-projects will also increase. On the 14th of June 2018, the EU Office of the Research Department therefore organises an Information Day about research cooperation with countries from that part of Europe. Magda De Carli of DG RTD from the European Commission will for instance join us to tell you everything about the Horizon 2020/Widening Participation & Spreading Excellence work programme. Furthermore, the Horizon 2020/COST Action plan for Widening will be explained and the possibilities to cooperate with institutions from CEE-countries with funding of FWO discussed. In the afternoon, Ghent University researchers will share their personal experiences in working with colleagues and institutions from the CEE-region.
