Results of a #VR-study showed that the presence of a virtual audience can hamper both overall performance and learning, particularly when the audience appears more realistic.

The study was presented on HCI International 2020 and mict-researchers dr. Wouter Durnez, dr. Klaas Bombeke, Jamil Joundi, Aleksandra Zheleva, Prof. Jelle Saldien and Prof. Lieven De Marez received the Best Paper Award at this conference.
