Erasmus+ IN2FOOD International Conference & Kick Off

Food waste is one of the key global, Societal Challenges in our world today, being a major contributor to Global Warming, causing 8% of total global greenhouse gas emissions. Indonesia is the fourth largest country in terms of population size with a population of around 260 million people. Despite being a middle-income country, each Indonesian throws away an average of 300 kilogram of food annually. This calls for immediate collaborative action to reduce food waste in Indonesia. Together with Indonesian partner universities we will support the development of interdisciplinary courses at our partner universities in Indonesia, while also providing general project management and quality assurance support. Join us for the Kick-Off meeting!
