Project 4
Effects of Noradrenaline on Hepatic Blood Flow during Goal-Directed Hemodynamic Therapy
Description
Noradrenaline has both an alpha- and beta-receptor stimulating effect. The blood vessels in the liver are very sensitive to sympathetic stimulation. This project aims to assess whether a noradrenaline-induced dose-dependent increase in mean arterial pressure affects blood flow in the portal vein and the hepatic artery.
