Research Day 2022

Because we want to encourage you to share your knowledge, Research Day 2022 will be organized on-campus with additional livestream options.

You can expect an exciting programme with presentations by students and researchers, workshops, and lectures by international guest speakers. Mark March 31st 2022 in your agenda.

The Research Day is an initiative of the Scientific Research Committees and the Student Councils of the Faculties of Medicine and Health Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences and Veterinary Medicine.

Apply for oral or poster presentations

10’ oral presentation

PhD students and postdoctoral researchers from the participating faculties will have the opportunity to present their research in maximum 8 minutes followed by 2 minutes of questions (in English). A moderator will introduce the session and select the questions.

1' poster pitch presentation

As an Honours Programme, master thesis or PhD student of one of the participating faculties, you can visualise your research by means of a poster which you present by means of a 1' pitch (in English).

Interested?

  • From 1 February 2022 you will be able to apply.
  • Pay attention: Only 120 posters will be selected based on a first come - first served principle.
  • Practical guidelines for your poster: portrait A0 pdf format (max. 10 MB)
  • No obligations in terms of layout and template that you use for your poster. The Student Councils will print and provide the posters on Research Day. Prizes for the best posters will be awarded. At the end of the day you can take your poster home.
