CTSE presentations at AUTEX2021 conference

(19-08-2021) CTSE will be well represented at the AUTEX2021 conference (5-9 September, online). Find out more about our presentations in the full scientific program.

The AUTEX 2021 Conference will be held online, on the 5th to the 9th September 2021. Unfolding the Future is the moto of the 20th World Textile Conference. Recognized as a reference among the textile scientific community, the AUTEX conferences gather every year a large number of researchers that share their ideas and achievements in various research and educational projects.

The Centre for Textile Science and Engineering (CTSE) of Ghent University will be well represented with 8 presentations:

  • "Electrospun Nanofibres for High Delamination Resistance of Fibre Reinforced Composites" - Timo Meireman
  • "Predictive Modelling of the Mechanics of Textiles Using A(Near) Micro-scale Virtual Fibre Method" - Lode Daelemans
  • "Design and Virtual Prototyping of Tight-Fit Cycling Shirt" - Yetanawork Teyeme
  • "Removal of Hazardous Finishes to Enable Mechanical Recycling of Waste Acrylic Fabrics" - Brecht Tomme
  • "Breathable Textile Microstrip Patch Antenna for ISM Band" - Abdul Wahab Memon
  • "Building the Third Dimension: Microstructure and Mechanics of Additive Manufactured Continuous Aramid Fiber/PETG Composites with Variable Fiber Content through In-nozzle Impregnation" - Sander Rijckaert
  • "ICT in Textile and Clothing Higher Education and Business (ICT-TEX)" - Carla Hertleer
  • "Does Size Matter? In-Situ SEM Analysis of the Tensile Properties of Epoxy at the Microscale" - Olivier Verschatse

For the Erasmus+ project T-CREPE, which is coordinated by Prof. Lieva Van langenhove from CTSE, a presentation will be given by our colleague Melis Örnekoğlu Selçuk, titled "Using Online Games in Textile Engineering Education."
