In the “Blue Bird” room, ten groups of students from different programs of UGent show the result of a year of creativity, design, and research for the societal challenges of tomorrow. Admission is free and open to the public. Feel free to visit and immerse yourself. You can ask the students for more information and encourage or congratulate them on the work they have done. It is certainly worth the effort. Invite all your friends.

THE BROADER FRAMEWORK: UNIVERSITY-WIDE ELECTIVE COCREATION

What does the university-wide elective course co-creation have to offer? You will work with other students from various programs on a challenging project or case study to shape tomorrow's society. Each project has multiple dimensions and focuses on the integration of human, economic and technological aspects to provide an answer to a concrete question formulated by the business world or an organization. You are introduced to cocreation, multi-perspectivism and design thinking, a method that offers you assets to tackle such complex problems. You will have biweekly engaging, inspiring classes and debate various topics. In addition, you will have biweekly sessions where you will be coached by Prof. Jan Detand and Prof. Marina Emmaouil, Dr. Davy Parmentier and PhD student Melis Örnekoğlu Selçuk.
