Willy Désiré Emera received his MSc in Development, Environment and Society from Louvain la Neuve in 2016, in which his research focused on peri-urban agriculture and its socioeconomic impact on household in Burundi.  He now works as a doctoral Student/research engaged in assessing the agrifood systems pathways that can contribute to improve human nutrition in Burundi.



Willy Désiré Emera works currently in two provinces of Burundi where he is collecting data that will allow him to assess factors that are involved to improving human nutrition through agri-food systems.
